Player Requirements
- Quiet, uninterrupted space to play your match (no distractions, background noises, or background music)
- Well-lit board
- Skype account (free) and compatible video conferencing device
- Darts Atlas account (free) and compatible scoring device
Video Streaming
All Quarantine League matches should be played over Skype. In order to minimize potential technical issues we recommend players take the following steps:
- Ensure your streaming device can handle the demands of a 60-minute video call without encountering any audio or video disruptions.
- If streaming from a phone, ensure that a power source is available or that your battery can last long enough.
- Your camera should provide as tight a shot of your board as possible, capturing the area just above the “20” and below the “3” number indicators, and part of your surround.
Policies
Failure to adhere to these policies will result in immediate forfeiture of any in-progress matches, potential loss of ranking points, and possible suspension from future Quarantine League and City League events.
- Matches and Skype calls must be joined on time
- Video and scoreboard connectivity must be maintained throughout the duration of a match
- Scores must be verbally announced after each turn, before they are entered into Darts Atlas
